What is CPCS?
The CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) is the UK’s most widely recognised certification for plant operators. It proves that the holder has the skills, knowledge, and safety awareness required to operate plant machinery on construction sites across the UK.
Who is it for?
Anyone operating plant equipment — from excavators and dumpers to telehandlers and cranes — is required to hold a valid CPCS card to work legally and safely.
