An NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) is a work-based assessment designed to demonstrate your competence in operating specific types of plant machinery safely and effectively. It’s industry-recognised and highly valued by UK construction employers
We discuss your current experience, employer support, and machinery categories. Together we agree on a personalised NVQ pathway.
You collect evidence during normal work—videos, photos, checklists, supervisor statements. We help you organise everything to meet NVQ standards.
An assessor visits your site, observes you operating machinery, asks questions, and confirms your capabilities against recognised criteria.
We review all evidence and your assessment. Once satisfied, we submit on your behalf to the awarding body.
Upon approval, you receive a nationally recognised NVQ Level 2 Certificate—you’re now officially competent to operate plant machinery.
We assess across a wide range of plant, including:
All machinery types align with your existing CPCS/NPORS training
